I love Firefox. Earlier; it used to be the ‘tabs’ that got my attention. But now a days; every browser has tabs (even Internet Explorer). So ‘tabs’ is not the only reason that keeps me hooked on Firefox. It is so much more. For example; in Firefox 2.0; there is even a built in spell checker which comes in very handy while composing emails. My favorite feature of late has been ‘keywords’. Let me explain. You can assign keyboard shortcuts to your bookmarks. For example; I have ’sg’ mapped to saddegeet.com. So if I type in ’sg’ in the address bar and hit enter; it goes to the SaddeGeet main page. I have ’sgn’ for the SaddeGeet’ Newest Videos page. Intrigued yet? Here is how to do it on your machine..

I have written in the past about Zooomr, a photo sharing site that I use. I just have another reason to love Zooomr today. They had some server problems last week that caused the site to offline for a few days. To make up for the inconvenience; they decided to upgrade my pro account from a 1yr free to ‘pro 4 life’! How cool is that?
Remember; you can still get a free pro account if you are a blogger.

I just downloaded and installed Firefox 2 on my home computer. The interface is really sleek. I like it. And I am absolutely loving the ’spell check’ feature that works as you type in each textbox. The only gripe that I have with it is that 2 of my favorite extensions do not work: ColorFul tabs and Tab Mix Plus.
If you haven’t downloaded it yet; go try it out!

I am happy to report that my search for a good online RSS reader has ended. I just tried out the new Google Reader this morning and I have to agree with the rest of the reviews: This thing rocks!. Add this to the growing list of google products I use and recommend. Lets see: Google Search, Gmail, Google Talk, Google Adsense, Google Analytics, Picasa, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Pages, Google Maps, Google Send To Phone. I think thats it..
How many of Google’s products do you guys use?

After the successful sale of Kiko; there is another ‘failed’ web2.0 company listed on sale on ebay. Huckabuck, a web2.0 search company, is currently selling for $10,100. Keep in mind that this has not met the reserve price; which is bout $20k. As always; the shipping is free. Is this going to become the new trend? Build a company with all the web2.0 buzzwords (don’t forget AJAX!) and then just list it on ebay for sale. The funniest thing was the fact that they are mentioning that they make about $1/day in revenue from pay-per-click ads. $1/day? Damn; I make about that much with this site. Maybe I should list this on ebay?
