Now that I am actually a homeowner and have a garage, I was looking to put a workbench in there. We have a 2car garage; but only 1 car currently. That leaves a lot of room in the garage for other stuff. I thought about adding a workbench so that I can maybe learn how to work on the car etc. That would be pretty cool. I checked out this site for workbench and they have many different types there.

This weekend was all about driving. In a 48hr period; I drove for about 750 miles. That was made even better by the $3.44/gallon of gasoline and the mid 90F temperature. I can’t believe the summer is already here. High gas prices and hot weather has to definitely mean that Summer is here in full swing. Gas prices are just going insane. I am glad that at least the Honda is giving about 33mpg on the freeway. I guess it was a good choice to get rid of the 24mpg Audi. Not to mention that it required premium gas; which is about $3.75/gallon at some places.

I’m sure you all know about the online auction giant, Ebay. Right? Well; now there is a new site that offers a different twist on the familiar concept of auctions. Instead of trying to be the highest bidder at the end of the auction; your goal is to be the lowest bidder at bid4prizes. So you might think its very easy to win. I mean you can just go ahead and bid 1 cent and win everytime. Well; there is a catch. Your bid not only has to be the lowest; it also has to be unique. So you might bid 1 cent; but then a lot of other ppl might bid 1cent and you may not win. Remember; it has to be a unique bid. Go ahead and have fun with it. They have some really cool prizes. One which caught my eye was a 50inc Plasma TV. That would be a nice upgrade over my current 42inch. Then I can put the 50 in the living room and maybe put the 42 in my office. or maybe the bedroom. That would be nice!

So I was watching a little bit of the Lakers/Suns Game 3 on TNT last night. First of all; let me say how happy I am that Comcast finally got their act together and we are able to receive TNT in HD (along with ESPN2). For the longest time; Sacramento/Folsom market had the least number of HD channels available from Comcast. I mean, still they are no where close to what DishNetwork offers; but its better than what it was. Anyways; back to the game. The lakers were down by 17 early; it was like 31-14 or some insane score like that. I thought at that point that it was going to be another Game 2 like blowout; but then the Lakers showed up. They showed so much hussle and intensity and won. It doesn’t hurt that Kobe scored 45 points.. Lets see if this is the spark that Lakers need to take care of the Suns, or at least make it a series.

I have been watching a little of the NBA playoffs this year. Sadly for me, the two teams that I usually root for (LA Lakers and Miami Heat) are both down 2-0 in their series. The Lakers, I am not so surprised about. There is no way they could have beaten the suns. The Suns are way too good for that. But I am surprised at how bad Miami is doing. This is no way to defend a title. Their whole season has been a big disappointment; partly due to injiries to Shaq and Wade. But this is the playoffs.. a championship team is supposed to show up in the playoffs.. I just hope they do not get swept..
