Looking for a new Digital Camera
I was at costco this weekend. They have a pretty limited selection of cameras; but a couple of ones really got my eye. They make my Canon S410 look pretty bulky. The prices were not really great at Costco; so I went online to look at what Dell had to offer. Their home division has some crazy deals sometimes. Ofcourse it all depends on if you can find those great Dell Coupons . I found a 25% coupon; that would make a Canon SD630 only $299 (from $400). I am pretty tempted; but the darn Canon S410 that I have still takes some pretty good pictures.. hehe

The current generation Canon SD series cameras are awesome. The 3″ LCD on the SD630 is outstanding. I have the SD7000 IS, which I’m totally in love with. The image stabilizer and high ISO make taking low light handheld photos possible (they always would have been blurry with my previous cameras). It starts up in less than a second, takes several frames per second, takes great video, and generally blows the doors off of cameras from even a year or two ago.
Watch sites like http://www.gotapex.com for deals. I’ve seen good deals from Dell and Amazon, and GotApex will always find the best combination of deals, coupons, etc.
I guess I’m not the one to talk you out of a new toy! Have fun!
