DVR has changed the way I watch tv

I got my first DVR this past thursday. I know, I know.. for someone who claims to be a geek and not have a DVR.. Anyways; the reason was that I have a HD TV and Dish Network was asking for $200 upfront + monthly fee to give me a HD dvr. I’m too cheap to spring for that; so I suffered through watch TV and all the stupid ads. Anyways; Comcast was nice enough to include a HD DVR in the whole package deal they gave me. So when people tell you that DVR has changed the way they watch TV; its true. I do not watch TV at the time a program airs. If there is something that is going to be on TV: I just record it on to the DVR and just watch it later. This way I can skip through all the ads. More on this as my love affair continues..
