Blog spam is getting out of control!

I wrote a few months ago about comment spam on this blog ( Read Here). It seems to be getting worse this week. Today alone there were about 300 spam comments. Thank God I installed Akismet; which caught all but 6 of them.

I do not want to have to turn on ‘visual verification’ for people to post comments. I think thats pretty dump; and those visuals are sometimes pretty hard to read. But 300 comments a day is just too much.
