I need a new Gadget
I was thinking to myself today that I need to buy me a new gadget. It has been a very long time since I bought a cool ‘tech related geeky item’. I believe my last big tech purchase was my Plasma TV. That was back in September of 2005. Its a 42inch Panasonic EDTV. Since that; I have not bought anything. So then I started thinking about what I could buy. Lets see; a new digital camera?? Well, I have a Canon S410 and it is working quite fine. You can check out My Gallery and realize that I am not a avid photographer. I already have an iPod (4th generation 20gig) and even though the 20gig is a little small; its doing the job well.
Then I thought to myself maybe its time to upgrade my computer. Currently its a 2.4ghz Intel Pentium 4; with 512mb ram and a 160gig drive. The way I use it (non gaming); those specs are more than adequate. I already have an laptop from work. Its an IBM Thinkpad T42p. Let me just say, outside of Apple; IBM (Lenovo) makes the best laptops. So nothing computer related.. what else can I get?? Maybe I should just wait until the ‘real video ipod’ comes out. That might be a cool gadget.. until then; I guess the search continues…..
maybe you can buy the new PS3 and start playing like a man and stop playing (tetris on your phone) and some boring game with kids on your ps2
I would rather buy the new Nintendo Wii than the overpriced piece of crap known as the PS3
Speaking of all things sony; who wants to buy my ps2.. hehe
Stupid question but I have a Canon S410 camera which I dropped. The funny thing is, it seems like it would work fine if the lens could come out all the way. But it won’t and instead the camera makes a grinding sound when the lens tries to come out.
My question is: is it worth repairing (do you have any idea how much it will cost?) or should I just get a new one?
Depends on how long you have had it. If you have had it for a few years; then it might be time to just buy a new one. You can get a really nice one for about $250. Look into the SD line of Canon; I like the slim design…
How about an alienware?
u dont have anything to compare with
maybe
I think the best idea is to buy me a new LCD TV.
[...] Ever since I wrote a few days ago that I wanted a new gadget; I have been looking at various sites to see what is hot now a days. One of the first things that I looked at was the Origami PCs that was all the buzz a few months back. Origami, a clever Microsoft marketing blitz, turned out to be a Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC). The idea is somewhat of a mix between a Tablet PC and a Laptop. The hottest one out on the market seems to be the Samsung Q1. It has just started shipping and there are a few reviews (and unboxing pictures ). I just spent about 20 minutes watching the video of the unboxing. I have to say, it is one of the sleekest gadgets that I have seen lately. [...]
