Well, as I posted earlier; Google introduce their ‘Google Trends’ today. It allows you to type in a query and see what regions are the top searchers for that term. I was reading some forums and a person mentioned that ‘Cairo was the horniest city in the world’. Well; that may be true but 3 out of the top 5 cities are from India. I just saw this demo of EA Sports NBA Live 07 running on PS3. Words can not describe the video at all.. all I have to say is WHOA!!
Pay close attention to the difference in gameplay/responsiveness on PS2 and PS3. Even though this thing is going to cost $500 (just for the cheapest model); it looks like the graphics are going to be unlike anything we have seen on a console.

Today is my 1st day in Kubuntu. I installed it last night. It was getting pretty late; so I did not have much time to check it out. The first thing I did today was install Firefox. The beautiful thing about Firefox is that it is exactly the same as it would be on windows. All my favorite extensions just work. Other than Firefox; I also make extensive use of Google Talk. I only have about 5 people on the buddy list; but its 5 people that I talk regularly to. I love the simple interface of Google Talk; without all the bells/whistles (read: JUNK) that is built into Yahoo messenger, MSN or AIM.
Kubuntu comes with a IM client called Kopete. It is the default for any KDE based desktop. I found this really great link at the KDE Wiki that walks through the setup procedure. After that; I was up and running in a few minutes. I thought the Google Talk interface was ‘clean’; Kopete is even cleaner. I love the way that it just gives me the basics I need to chat; and none of the fancy overhead that I do not care about.

It seems that it has been a while since Google has announced a new product. Well, the wait is over now. Google labs today introduced their newest feature called “Google Trends“. Using this tool; you can type in a search query and get information regarding some stats about that query. Another great feature is that you can search for multiple terms as see the search volume. For example, Amd and Intel.
