Rapper from D12 Killed - Deshaun Holton (aka Proof)

Deshaun Holton, better known as Proof, was killed early Tuesday morning (4/11/2006) in a nightclub shooting in Detroit. He was part of the Rap group D-12; and a childhood friend of Eminem. He appeared in ‘8-mile’, one of the better movies about the whole rap scene. He also had a small role in the ‘The Longest Yard’ movie with Adam Sandler. RIP! 
Trivia: He wanted to use his real name in the movie ‘8-mile’ but wasn’t allowed to by the director. So, being the creative rapper he was, he used it as an acronym:
“I’ll (P)unish (R)abbit (O)r (O)bsolete (F)uture.”

This is terrible. Proof made D12 what it is and he was only just getting his solo career started. I was really looking forward to his next album. R.I.P. Proof.

Seems a lot of people, my wife included, can’t stand Adam Sandler. I love the guy! Haven’t seen Click yet, but I be checking i out soon. Looks like a great flick.
