As you can tell by the lack of new blog posts this past few days; I was away from the PC. I left on thursday night to visit my parents for the weekend. Just got back sunday night. My parents live about 200 miles away from; so its a good 3 hour drive. Last night’s drive was pretty interesting. It was raining the whole time. I really do mean the whole time; there wasn’t even a 5-10 mile break. I turned on the wipers as soon as I left my parent’s house and didn’t turn them off when I got to my place.

Looking at the weather forecast for the next 5 days here; its seems this rain is going to be continuing. In the month of march; there were 20 days of rain. Thats a little too much; even for a person who likes the rain.

I didn’t get any time to keep up with the daily happenings in the WWW these past few days. My parents do have dsl; but my friday/saturday/sunday were spent at the Selma Sikh Center (Selma Gurdwara for you Punjabi people :)). I do have some pictures (not much) that I will try to post up this week. If I get some time; I may write up a post about what it was that we did. For the punjabi speaking readers; it was an Akand Path. For you non punjabi people; you can search Google for it, or wait until I post a writeup (I suggest checking google, who knows when I’ll do a write up).

For now; its back to work. This is the 1st day of the new quarter: that means new tasks, new deadlines. As of now; I am not behind on any of my work task. Lets see how long that keeps up.
