iTunes smart playlists
iTunes is my preferred player for listening to my mp3 collection. I have over 3000 songs in my library (All punjabi baby!!). Last time I checked; that equals to over 10 days of uninterruped songs. The collection has seemed to outgrown my 20gig iPod; but thats a topic for some other day.
Back to iTunes. It has this feature called ’smart playlists’ that allow you to create ‘dynamic’ playlists based on some criteria. For example; you can have a playlists that lists all the songs that were added to your library in the past 2 weeks. I use smart playlists a lot and I thought I knew how to utlize them properly; that is until I read the below article. Its a very good guide to fully utilize the smart playlist feature like a pro. You will defintely learn something new; for example I just found out that you can nest playlists!!

Make your own buttons
I’m sure you have seen these little buttons on a lot of blogs; like this one 
. I found out this great little site that allows you to make your own buttons (as the one I made for my gallery). The website has a ton of options regarding the background, text color, alignment etc. Defintely check it outl.

Move over Mac Mini?
If you like the design of the Mac Mini; but for some reason do not want to won a Mac; there is hope for you. Shuttle has announced their newest ‘mini pc’: XPC mini X100 (quite a name!). Its along the same design as the Mac Mini; so it would make a great ‘media pc’. No word on pricing yet; but it can’t be as expensive as the Mac Mini.
