Ok, I know I am a big Google fan and always have been. I have always looked at Microsoft as this big evil company who is only out to make money. I will probably use yahoo search before I even consider using the stupid msn search thingie that they are working on. Having said that; these are just my opinions. I did not mean to hurt MSN’s feelings or anything like that. But it turns out that they are pretty offended with it. Check out the results you get when you search for my name.
I think my friend who works at Microsoft is to blame. I hate that guy! This just goes to show; be careful of what you say to someone. You never know how they are going to react. I guess I found out the hard way.

Apple is planning something big on its 30th anniversary on April 1. While rumors of the new video ipod, or ipod with bluetooth are running rampant ; Apple has other plans. They are trying to market the iPod to ALIENS! Look at this google map location in Australia that shows a giant iPod that is created so that it can be seen from space. Crazy stuff!

One of the nice features of Wordpress is that it allows you to really customize your blog as you want it. Today I spent some time browsing some of the themes that are out there and decided on Blix . So far I am loving it. Seeing how it is almost spring already; I think the timing is just right. What do you guys think?

I just noticed very odd behavior today on my website. For about a week; I was getting 100+ hits on my blog due to my post about Kulwinder Dhillon’s death. But suddenly; the hits stopped coming.. what happened!!

I try to avoid the mouse as much as possible. If there is a keyboard shortcut available; I am much more likely to use that rather than the mouse. In fact, one of my pet peeves is to watch people use the mouse more than it is necessary. I have seen people go to the Edit menu to ‘copy’ rather than hit ‘Ctrl-C’. That just drives me nuts! Anyways; I am just ranting now.
The purpose of this post is to let you guys know of a cool new piece of software that I am using on my computer here. The name of this software is Colibri.
Colibri is a little utility that allows you to type a few letters in the name of the program and then launch it without ever having to use the mouse. That may not sound like much; but trust me; once you learn to use it.. you will be using it all the time. So how does it work?
After installing Colibri; it scans your list of programs (very quick scan) and builds up an searchable index of all the programs. You type a hot-key, (I am using Ctrl-Space) and it brings up a little window in the middle of your desktop. Then you just start typing; and it will show you all matching programs. Check out the screenshots below of me trying to find iTunes and Google Talk. (A picture is worth a 1000 words sometimes).

Its that time of the year again. College students are done with their finals and getting ready to go on a spring break. Typically that involves going to Cancun; getting drunk and probably get food poisoining. But Skyler Bartels is not your typical college student. He is a nut job who tried to spend his whole spring break at Walmart. How exciting!!
